Advanced Certified Green Building Professional, Build It Green
Matt joined DPC in 2009, having worked in construction as a painter, carpenter and project manager since 1996. He has run a broad range of projects—from small, designer-led upgrades to multi-million dollar high-end renovations.
Matt's interest in and knowledge about green building methods and materials is informed by his experience in Kigali, Rwanda in East Africa, where he took a two-year opportunity to run an international sales office for solar powered lanterns and water purification products in 2012, rejoining DPC upon his return.
Prior to his construction career, Matt taught studio art and technical theater construction for 12 years to middle and high school students in California, Colorado and Texas. He holds a BA from Wake Forest University, where he was a double major in Studio Art and German.
